วันที่ 4 มีนาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เข้าพบหารือ นาย Nik Akhtarulhaq Bin Nik Abdul Rahman รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง รัฐกลันตัน (บริหาร) และรักษาการผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานฯ ณ สตม. รัฐกลันตัน เพื่อหารือเรื่องการอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชนที่เดินทางข้ามแดนในพื้นที่ชายแดนรัฐกลันตัน-จังหวัดนราธิวาส

โอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือ แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการปรับเวลาเปิด-ปิดด่านชายแดนเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชน ส่งเสริมการศึกษาและการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างกัน รวมทั้งแนวทางเพิ่มพูนความร่วมมือในการจัดส่งคนไทยพ้นโทษกลับประเทศไทย และการอำนวยความสะดวกในการจัดกิจกรรมด้านวัฒนธรรมและศาสนาในรัฐกลันตัน

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu meets Deputy Director of Kelantan Immigration Department (Administration) and Acting Director of Kelantan State Immigration Department

On 4 March 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, called on Mr. Nik Akhtarulhaq Bin Nik Abdul Rahman, Deputy Director of the Kelantan Immigration Department (Administration) and Acting Director of the Department, at the Kelantan Immigration Office. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation in facilitating cross-border travel for people living along the Kelantan – Narathiwat border.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views and shared information on adjusting the operating hours of border checkpoints to better serve the public, promoting education and tourism between the two areas, enhancing cooperation in repatriating Thai nationals after completion of their sentences, and facilitating cultural and religious activities in Kelantan.
