วันที่ 19 เมษายน 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ให้การต้อนรับ Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai ประธาน Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall (MCAH) พร้อมคณะ ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนรัฐกลันตัน เพื่อศึกษาดูงาน ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการแสวงหาโอกาสความร่วมมือที่ใกล้ชิดทางวัฒนธรรมระหว่างไทยกับรัฐกลันตัน และเศรษฐกิจการค้าจากการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานเชี่อมโยงประเทศทั้งสอง การส่งเสริมการค้าและการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทย โดยเฉพาะจังหวัดนราธิวาสกับรัฐกลันตัน และการเพิ่มพูนความร่วมมือด้านฮาลาล

ช่วงเย็นของวันเดียวกัน คณะ MCAH ได้เดินทางเยือนอำเภอสุไหงโก-ลก จังหวัดนราธิวาส โดยนางศิริพร เลาหะกุล ประธานหอการค้าจังหวัดนราธิวาส และผู้แทนหอการค้าฯ ได้จัดบรรยายสรุป และหารือการส่งเสริมการค้าชายแดน การท่องเที่ยว และผู้ประกอบการรุ่นใหม่ เป็นต้น

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu holds discussions on cooperation with delegation from the Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall (MCAH)

On 19 April 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, welcomed Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai, President of the Malaysia Chinese Assembly Hall (MCAH), and his delegation during their study visit to Kelantan.

Both sides engaged in constructive discussions and exchanged views on enhancing closer cultural ties between Thailand and Kelantan. Key topics included exploring economic and trade opportunities arising from cross-border infrastructure development, promoting trade and tourism between Thailand’s southern order provinces, particularly Narathiwat, and Kelantan, as well as strengthening cooperation in the Halal industry.

Later that day, the MCAH delegation visited Sungai Golok District, Narathiwat Province. Ms. Siriporn Laohakul, President of Narathiwat Chamber of Commerce, together with representatives from the Chamber, hosted a briefing and discussion session focusing on promoting cross-border trade, tourism, and supporting young entrepreneurs
