วันที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมหารือระหว่างอาหารกลางวันกับ YBM Dato’ Dr. Tengku Mohamed Faziharudean Al-Haj bin Tengku Feissal เลขาธิการรัฐกลันตัน และคณะผู้บริหาร ณ บ้านพักกงสุลใหญ่ฯ
โอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศไทยและรัฐกลันตันในด้านต่าง ๆ ที่เป็นประโยชน์ร่วมกัน โดยเฉพาะการพัฒนาความเชื่อมโยง (Connectivity) ระหว่างจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทยกับรัฐกลันตัน การลงทุนของภาคเอกชน โลจิสติกส์ การได้รับเครื่องหมายรับรองฮาลาล (Halal Certification) ของมาเลเซีย ซึ่งนานาประเทศให้ความเชื่อถือ และแร่หายากของรัฐกลันตัน ประเด็นหารือดังกล่าว หากได้รับการขับเคลื่อนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ย่อมเป็นประโยชน์ต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของชุมชนท้องถิ่น และการพัฒนาจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทยและรัฐตอนเหนือของมาเลเซีย
บรรยากาศการหารือเป็นไปอย่างสร้างสรรค์และเป็นกันเอง ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความสัมพันธ์อันยาวนานและความร่วมมืออันใกล้ชิดระหว่างประเทศไทยและรัฐกลันตัน โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายแสดงความมุ่งมั่นที่จะสานต่อการหารือและพัฒนาความร่วมมือให้ก้าวหน้ายิ่งขึ้นต่อไป
Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu discusses cooperation between Thailand and Kelantan with the Kelantan State Secretary
On 5 November 2025, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, hosted a working luncheon in honour of YBM Dato’ Dr. Tengku Mohamed Faziharudean Al-Haj bin Tengku Feissal, Kelantan State Secretary, and his high-level delegation at the Consul-General’s residence.
On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between Thailand and the State of Kelantan in areas of mutual benefit. In particular, the discussion covered improving connectivity between Thailand’s Southern Border Provinces and Kelantan; promoting private sector investment; enhancing logistics cooperation; facilitating the acquisition of Malaysia’s internationally recognized Halal certification; and matters related to Kelantan’s rare earth resources. If these areas of cooperation are advanced in a concrete and coordinated manner, they stand to bring tangible benefits to the quality of life of local communities, as well as contribute to the development of Thailand’s Southern Border Provinces and the Northern States of Malaysia.
The luncheon took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the longstanding relationship and close cooperation between Thailand and the State of Kelantan. Both sides expressed their commitment to continuing dialogue and enhancing collaboration moving forward.
