วันที่ 4 มีนาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ให้การต้อนรับ พันเอก ประทัย ฉงสกุล รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักข่าวกรอง กรมข่าวทหารบก และเลขานุการคณะทำงานข่าวกรองยุทธศาสตร์เพื่อแก้ปัญหาจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ พ.อ. อาทิตย์ พิกุลทอง ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารและช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารบก ประจำกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ และคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและหารือเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการบริเวณชายแดนไทย-รัฐกลันตัน โอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับมุมมองของรัฐบาลรัฐกลันตันต่อการพัฒนาพื้นที่ชายแดน การบริหารจัดการพื้นที่บริเวณชายแดน และการแบ่งปันข้อมูลเชิงลึก รวมทั้งการบูรณาการทำงานระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ กับ ศอ.บต. และจังหวัดนราธิวาส ในการดูแลให้ความช่วยเหลือคนไทยในรัฐกลันตัน รัฐตรังกานู และคนไทยในมาเลเซียที่มีสถานะตกหล่นทางทะเบียนราษฏร โดยเฉพาะการเข้าถึงการบริการพื้นฐานด้านสาธาณสุขของไทย

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu discusses with Deputy Director of the Office of Intelligence, Directorate of Intelligence and delegation

On 4 March 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, welcomed Colonel Prathai Chongsakul, Deputy Director of the Office of Intelligence, Directorate of Intelligence, together with Colonel Artit Pikulthong, Defence and Army Attaché to Kuala Lumpur and their delegation on the occasion of a courtesy call and discussions on developments along the Thailand–Kelantan border.

Both sides exchanged information and views regarding the Kelantan State Government’s perspectives on border area development, border management, and the sharing of in-depth information. The discussion also covered the integrated collaboration between the Consulate-General, the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC), and Narathiwat Province in providing assistance to Thai nationals residing in Kelantan and Terengganu, particularly those with incomplete civil registration status, as well as facilitating their access to basic healthcare services by relevant Thai authorities.
