วันที่ 12 มกราคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนายบุญช่วย หอมยามเย็น ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนราธิวาส ณ ศาลากลางจังหวัดนราธิวาส เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสที่ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดฯ เข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ และแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและความคิดเห็น เพื่อกระชับความร่วมมือระหว่างระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ กับจังหวัดนราธิวาส ในด้านต่าง ๆ โดยเฉพาะการส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การท่องเที่ยว การพัฒนาความเชื่อมโยงบริเวณชายแดนระหว่างรัฐกลันตันกับจังหวัดนราธิวาส การให้ความช่วยเหลือดูแลคนไทยจากจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทยที่อาศัยในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู มาเลเซีย ตลอดจนการหารือประเด็นความท้าทายด้านความมั่นคงในพื้นที่ชายแดนระหว่างจังหวัดนราธิวาสกับรัฐตอนเหนือของมาเลเซีย ในการนี้ นายวิชาญ ชัยเศรษฐสัมพันธ์ และนายกฤษณนันท์ กำไร รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดฯ พร้อมด้วยหัวหน้าส่วนราชการต่าง ๆ ได้เข้าร่วมการหารือในครั้งนี้ด้วย
Consul – General of Thailand to Kota Bharu pays courtesy call on Governor of Narathiwat to promote Thai – Malaysian cross-border cooperation
On 12 January 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, together with officials of the Consulate-General, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Boonchuey Homyamyen, Governor of Narathiwat Province, on the occasion of the Governor’s assumption of duty at the Narathiwat Provincial Hall. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views and information aimed at enhancing cooperation between the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Narathiwat Province. Discussions focused particularly on the promotion of economic, trade, and tourism cooperation, development of cross-border connectivity between Kelantan and Narathiwat, provision of assistance and welfare for Thai nationals from Thailand’s southern border provinces residing in Kelantan and Terengganu as well as security challenges in the border areas between Narathiwat and the northern states of Malaysia. On this occasion, Mr. Wichan Chaisetsumpan and Mr. Kritsananan Kamrai, Vice Governors of Narathiwat Province, together with heads of relevant government agencies, also participated in the meeting.
