วันที่ 4 มีนาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เป็นเจ้าภาพงานเลี้ยงอาหารละศีลอด (อิฟตาร์) เนื่องในเดือนรอมฎอน ปีฮิจเราะห์ศักราช 1447 ให้แก่กลุ่มนักศึกษาไทยมุสลิม และผู้แทนชุมชนคนไทยมุสลิมในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู จำนวน 25 คน ณ ร้านอาหาร Keng Som เมืองโกตาบารู โอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้พูดคุยและสอบถามถึงความเป็นอยู่และการศึกษาเล่าเรียนของนักศึกษา ตลอดจนแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสนับสนุนกลุ่มนักศึกษาไทยและชุมชนคนไทยมุสลิมในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานูในอนาคตอย่างใกล้ชิดและเป็นกันเอง
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์อันใกล้ชิด เสริมสร้างการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ และสนับสนุนกิจกรรมของนักศึกษาไทยมุสลิม รวมทั้งบทบาทของชุมชนคนไทยมุสลิมในเขตกงสุลอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ทั้งนี้ ผู้แทนกลุ่มนักศึกษาไทยมุสลิมที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม จำนวน 18 คน เป็นสมาชิกกลุ่มนักศึกษาไทยในภาคตะวันออกของมาเลเซีย (TE) และกำลังศึกษาอยู่ที่มหาวิทยาลัยอิสลามนานาชาติ Sultan Ismail Petra (Sultan Ismail Petra International Islamic College University: KIAS) รัฐกลันตัน และมหาวิทยาลัย Sultan Zainal Abidin (Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin: UniSZA) รัฐตรังกานู ขณะที่อีก 7 คน เป็นผู้แทนชุมชนไทยมุสลิมจากมูลนิธิ International Islamic Information and Daawah Centre (IIDAC) ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรการกุศลในเมืองโกตาบารูที่ให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่กลุ่มเปราะบาง รวมถึงคนไทยในรัฐกลันตัน
Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu hosts Iftar dinner for Thai Muslim students and representatives of Thai Muslim community in Kelantan and Terengganu
On 4 March 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, hosted an Iftar dinner during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Hijri Year 1447, for Thai Muslim students and representatives of the Thai Muslim community in Kelantan and Terengganu at Keng Som Restaurant in Kota Bharu. A total of 25 Thai Muslims attended the event.
On this occasion, the Consul-General, together with officials and staff of the Consulate-General, engaged in friendly conversations with the students, inquiring about their well-being and academic progress. They also exchanged views on possible activities and initiatives to support Thai students and the Thai Muslim community in Kelantan and Terengganu in the future. The event reflects the Consulate-General’s commitment to fostering close ties, enhancing interaction, and continuously supporting activities of Thai Muslim students, as well as the role of the Thai Muslim community within its consular jurisdiction.
Among the participants were 18 representatives of Thai Muslim students, who are members of the Thai student group in Eastern Malaysia (TE) and are currently studying at the Sultan Ismail Petra International Islamic College University (KIAS) in Kelantan and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) in Terengganu. The remaining 7 participants were representatives of the Thai Muslim community from the International Islamic Information and Daawah Centre (IIDAC), a charitable organisation in Kota Bharu that provides assistance to vulnerable groups, including Thai nationals in Kelantan.
