วันที่ 11 มิถุนายน 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ให้การต้อนรับนาง Rosmaliza binti Mohamed Rashid ผู้อำนวยการ Depot and Detention Management Division กรมตรวจคนเข้าเมืองมาเลเซีย พร้อมด้วยนาย Garry Belayong Anak John Siki ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองรัฐกลันตัน คณะผู้บริหารและเจ้าหน้าที่จากกรมตรวจคนเข้าเมืองมาเลเซีย และสำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมืองรัฐกลันตัน

โอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือความร่วมมือการบริหารจัดการคนไทยที่เดินทางเข้าและพำนักในมาเลเซีย โดยเฉพาะในรัฐกลันตัน ซึ่งมีพรมแดนติดกับประเทศไทย และแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการยกระดับการติดต่อประสานงานระหว่างหน่วยงานของทั้งสองประเทศ รวมทั้งยืนยันความพร้อมของทั้งสองฝ่ายในการกระชับความร่วมมือให้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้นต่อไป กงสุลใหญ่ฯ เน้นย้ำว่า ไทยและมาเลเซียมีเป้าหมายสอดคล้องกันในการอำนวยความสะดวกให้ประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ สามารถเดินทางข้ามพรมแดนไปหามาสู่กันโดยสะดวก ปลอดภัย และถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย อันจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีในฐานะประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน และสนับสนุนการพัฒนาร่วมกันของทั้งสองประเทศ โดยเฉพาะบริเวณพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย–มาเลเซีย

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu discusses cooperation with Malaysian Immigration Authorities

On 11 June 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, welcomed Ms. Rosmaliza binti Mohamed Rashid, Director of Depot and Detention Management Division, Immigration Department of Malaysia, together with Mr. Garry Belayong Anak John Siki, Director of Kelantan State Immigration Office, and a delegation of executives and officials from the Immigration Department of Malaysia and the Kelantan State Immigration Office.

On this occasion, both sides discussed cooperation on the management of Thai nationals entering and residing in Malaysia, particularly in Kelantan, which shares a border with Thailand, exchanged views on strengthening coordination between the relevant authorities of both countries and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The Consul-General reiterated that Thailand and Malaysia share a common objective of facilitating cross-border movement in a manner that is convenient, safe, and lawful for the peoples of both countries. Such cooperation would further strengthen the close ties between the two neighbouring countries while promoting shared prosperity and development, particularly in the Thailand–Malaysia border areas.
