วันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ให้การต้อนรับ พล.อ. สุรเทพ หนูแก้ว รองหัวหน้าศูนย์ประสานงานประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการกองทัพบก พ.อ. อาทิตย์ พิกุลทอง ผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารและช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารบก ประจำกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ และคณะ ในโอกาสที่คณะไทยเยือนรัฐกลันตัน เพื่อพบปะหารือกับหน่วยงานท้องถิ่น และเพื่อหารือกับสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ เกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการล่าสุดและความร่วมมือในพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย–รัฐกลันตัน

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือบริเวณชายแดนไทย–มาเลเซีย การบริหารจัดการพื้นที่ชายแดน การแบ่งปันข้อมูลเชิงลึก ตลอดจนการบูรณาการการทำงานระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ศูนย์อำนวยการบริหารจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ (ศอ.บต.) และจังหวัดนราธิวาส เพื่อยกระดับการดูแลและให้ความช่วยเหลือคนไทยในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู รวมถึงคนไทยในมาเลเซียที่มีสถานะตกหล่นทางทะเบียนราษฎร โดยเฉพาะการส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงสิทธิและบริการสาธารณสุขของประเทศไทย

โอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ พล.อ. สุรเทพ หนูแก้ว และคณะ ที่บ้านพักกงสุลใหญ่ฯ

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu holds discussions with Deputy Chief of Neighbouring Countries Coordination Center.

On 1 July 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, welcomed General Surathep Nukaew, Deputy Chief of Neighbouring Countries Coordination Center, accompanied by Colonel Artit Pikulthong, Defence and Army Attaché to Kuala Lumpur, and their delegation during their visit to Kelantan. The visit formed part of the delegation’s programme of meetings with local authorities and consultations with the Royal Thai Consulate-General regarding recent developments and cooperation along the Thai–Kelantan border.

During the discussions, both sides exchanged information and views on enhancing Thailand–Malaysia border cooperation, border area management, and sharing of in-depth information. Discussions also focused on strengthening integrated collaboration between the Consulate-General, the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC), and Narathiwat Province to provide further assistance for Thai nationals residing in Kelantan and Terengganu, including those with unresolved civil registration status, particularly in facilitating their access to basic healthcare services in Thailand.

On this occasion, the Consul-General also hosted a dinner in honour of General Surathep Nukaew and his delegation at the Consul-General's Residence.
