วันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมติดตามผลและประชุมวางแผนการดำเนินโครงการความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตรระหว่างสำนักงานคณะกรรมการพิเศษเพื่อประสานงานโครงการอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ (สำนักงาน กปร.) กับมหาวิทยาลัยมาเลเซียแห่งรัฐกลันตัน (Universiti Malaysia Kelantan - UMK) ในโอกาสที่นายวัชระ ทัศภาค ที่ปรึกษาด้านการพัฒนา สำนักงาน กปร. พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารสำนักงาน กปร. และนางสายหยุด เพ็ชรสุข ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ศึกษาการพัฒนาพิกุลทองอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ เดินทางเยือนรัฐกลันตัน ระหว่างวันที่ 19–21 สิงหาคม 2569

กงสุลใหญ่ฯ และคณะฯ ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม ณ อาคารที่ทำการรัฐบาลประจำรัฐกลันตัน ร่วมกับ YB Dato’ Ustaz Haji Tuan Mohd Saripudin Tuan Ismail ประธานคณะกรรมการบริหารรัฐกลันตันด้านการเกษตร อุตสาหกรรมเกษตร และสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์ และ Prof. Dr. Wan Ahmad Amir Zal bin Wan Ismail รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของ UMK เพื่อหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือระหว่างศูนย์ศึกษาการพัฒนาพิกุลทองฯ กับ UMK อาทิ การฝึกอบรม การแปรรูปและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ การส่งเสริมการตลาด และการรับรองมาตรฐานฮาลาลของมาเลเซีย นอกจากนี้ คณะฯ ได้ศึกษาดูงานการบรรจุภัณฑ์และมาตรฐานฮาลาลของมาเลเซียของบริษัทท้องถิ่น และเยี่ยมชมแหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรและวัฒนธรรม

โอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ นายวัชระ ทัศภาค และคณะ ที่บ้านพักกงสุลใหญ่ฯ

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu Participates in Planning Meeting on Implementation of Agricultural Cooperation between the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan

On 20 August 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, was invited to participate in a follow-up and planning meeting on implementation of agricultural cooperation between the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB) and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), on the occasion of the visit to Kelantan by Mr. Wachara Thassaphak, Advisor on Development, ORDPB, together with a delegation of ORDPB executives and Ms. Saiyud Phetsuk, Director of the Pikun Thong Royal Development Study Centre, from 19–21 August 2026.

The Consul-General and the delegation attended the meeting at the Kelantan State Government Office, together with YB Dato’ Ustaz Haji Tuan Mohd Saripudin Tuan Ismail, Chairman of the Kelantan State Executive Committee for Agriculture, Agro-Industry and Commodities, and Prof. Dr. Wan Ahmad Amir Zal bin Wan Ismail, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation of UMK. The meeting discussed potential areas of cooperation between Pikun Thong Royal Development Study Centre and UMK, including training, product processing and development, marketing promotion, and Malaysian Halal certification. In addition, the delegation visited a local company to learn about packaging and Malaysian Halal standards and an agro-cultural tourism destination.

On this occasion, the Consul-General hosted a dinner in honour of Mr. Wachara Hassapak and the delegation at the Consul-General’s Residence.
