กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารูได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะมุขมนตรีแห่งรัฐกลันตัน เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่
วันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2566 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ YAB Dato’ Panglima Perang Ustaz Dato’ Haji Mohd Nassuruddin Bin Haji Daud มุขมนตรีแห่งรัฐกลันตัน (Menteri Besar) เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ โอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้แสดงความยินดีต่อการดำรงตำแหน่ง เป็นมุขมนตรีคนที่ 9 แห่งรัฐกลันตัน ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ไทย - มาเลเซียที่ใกล้ชิดและเป็นมิตร โดยมุขมนตรีได้แสดงความชื่นชอบและความคุ้นเคยกับประเทศไทยเป็นอย่างมาก และเมื่อมีโอกาสได้พบปะชุมชนชาวไทยมุสลิมในจังหวัดต่าง ๆ ก็จะเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติภายในสังคมไทย นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ และรัฐกลันตัน ทั้งการท่องเที่ยว การเรียนรู้สังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมจากรัฐกลันตัน และอื่น ๆ ตลอดจนการที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ พร้อมสนับสนุนแนวคิดของมุขมนตรีฯ ที่จะจัดการแข่งขันฟุตบอลมิตรภาพระหว่างจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้กับรัฐกลันตัน

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu paid a courtesy call on Menteri Besar of Kelantan State on the occasion of his assumption of duty.
On 15 November 2023, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General, together with officials of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, paid a courtesy call on YAB Dato’ Panglima Perang Ustaz Dato’ Haji Mohd Nassuruddin Bin Haji Daud on the occasion of his assumption of duty. The Consul-General congratulated him on his appointment as the 9th Menteri Besar. Both sides exchanged views on Thai-Malaysian relations which have always been close and cordial. The Menteri Besar is deeply knowledgeable about Thailand and met Thai Muslim communities in various provinces during his past visits where he had always emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence. Moreover, both sides discussed areas of cooperation between the Consulate-General, Southern Border Provinces of Thailand and Kelantan State, including tourism, learning of best practices in multicultural society from Kelantan State as well as the Royal Thai Consulate-General’s readiness to support an initiative of Menteri Besar to organize a friendly football match between Kelantan State and Southern Border Provinces of Thailand.
