เมื่อวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2567 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้มอบเงินจำนวน 500,000 บาท ให้แก่สมาคมชาวสยามรัฐกลันตัน โดยมี Prof. Ts. Dr. Aweng A/L Eh Rak (นายวิน ศรีสุวรรณ) รองประธานสมาคมฯ เป็นผู้แทนรับมอบ เพื่อร่วมสนับสนุนการดำเนินกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการเรียนการสอนภาษาไทย และศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยในรัฐกลันตัน โอกาสนี้ ผู้แทนสมาคมฯ ได้แสดงความขอบคุณสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ที่ได้ร่วมมือกับสมาคมฯ ด้วยดีมาอย่างต่อเนื่องยาวนาน โดยเงินสนับสนุนดังกล่าวจะเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทยของสมาคมฯ ในห้วงต่อไป หลังเสร็จสิ้นพิธีรับมอบเงินสนับสนุน สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และสมาคมฯ ได้ร่วมกันหารือแนวทางการใช้เงินสนับสนุนในการดำเนินกิจกรรมของสมาคมฯ เพื่อสืบสานอัตลักษณ์ของชาวสยามในรัฐกลันตันให้คงอยู่ต่อไป

 

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu handed over financial contribution of 500,000 Baht to Kelantan Siamese Association

 

On 27 July 2024, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, handed over financial contribution of 500,000 Baht to Prof. Ts. Dr. Aweng A/L Eh Rak, Deputy Chairman of the Kelantan Siamese Association, with an aim to support Thai language learning and cultural activities organized by the Association in Kelantan. On this occasion, the Association’s executive members expressed their deep appreciation to the Consulate-General for its long-running and fruitful cooperation with the Association, noting that the said contribution is very beneficial to implementation of activities on Thai language and culture learning by the Association in the near future. Following the hand-over ceremony, the Consul-General and the executive members of the Association discussed general guidelines on use of the contribution for the activities to ensure continuity of the Siamese cultural identity in Kelantan.
