วันที่ 7 พฤศจิกายน 2568 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้จัดพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลปัณรสมวาร (15 วัน) เพื่ออุทิศถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ณ วัดประชาจินาราม รัฐกลันตัน โดยนายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ คู่สมรสและเจ้าหน้าที่ ตลอดจนชาวไทย ชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายสยาม (ชาวสยาม) และชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายจีน ประมาณ 100 คน เข้าร่วมพิธีฯ

โอกาสนี้ พระพิศาลสมณกิจ เจ้าคณะรัฐกลันตัน และเจ้าอาวาสวัดประชาจินาราม เป็นประธานฝ่ายสงฆ์ และได้จัดพิธีทำบุญตักบาตร และสวดมนต์ถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง อนึ่ง สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ มีกำหนดจัดพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศล 50 วัน (ปัญญาสมวาร) และ 100 วัน (สตมวาร) แด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ต่อไปด้วย

Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu organizes Merit-Making Ceremony on the occasion of the fifteenth day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother

Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu organized a Merit-Making Ceremony at Prachacinaram Temple, on the occasion of the fifteenth day of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, as co-lay chairman, presided over the Ceremony, which was well attended by around 100 people, including officials and staff of the Consulate-General, Thai, Malaysian Siamese and Malaysian Chinese people in Kelantan.

Phra Phisan Samanakit, Primate of Kelantan and Abbot of Prachacinaram Temple, was the presiding monk, who led chanting to dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. A traditional almsgiving ceremony was also organized for the occasion. The Royal Thai Consulate-General will continue to hold Merit-Making Ceremonies on the 50th and 100th day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
