วันที่ 2 พฤษภาคม 2556 นายจักรกฤษณ์ กาญจนศูนย์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้ร่วมในพิธีเปิดงาน “สานสัมพันธ์นราธิวาส-กลันตัน” (Narathiwat – Kelantan Trade and Relationship Fair 2013) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่ห้างสรรพสินค้า KB Mall เมืองโกตาบารู รัฐกลันตัน ระหว่างวันที่ 1-5 พฤษภาคม 2556 โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างจังหวัดนราธิวาสกับรัฐกลันตันของมาเลเซีย โดยใช้สินค้าโอทอป และสินค้าพื้นบ้านของรัฐกลันตัน เป็นสื่อกลางในการเชื่อมโยงกิจกรรมระหว่างกัน ทั้งนี้การจัดงานประกอบด้วยการเจรจาทางธุรกิจ การจัดแสดงสินค้าพื้นบ้านของ 2 ฝั่งประเทศ และการจัดแสดงทางวัฒนธรรม โดยเป็นการร่วมมือกันระหว่างจังหวัดนราธิวาส สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู และ กระทรวงการค้าระหว่างประเทศและอุตสาหกรรมมาเลเซีย (MITI) ประจำรัฐกลันตัน

2 May 2013 – Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon attended the opening ceremony of Narathiwat-Kelantan Trade and Relationship Fair 2013, hosted by the province of Narathiwat with the cooperation of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Kelantan Regional Office and the Royal Thai Consulate-General.  The event, held at KB Mall, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, between 1-5 May 2013, was aimed at promoting closer relations between Narathiwat, Thailand and Kelantan, Malaysia using quality local products from both countries (OTOP products from Narathiwat and SDSI products from Kelantan) as a means to engage in commercial and cultural exchanges. In addition to exhibiting various kinds of local products the event also provided a platform for business-matching and demonstration of cultural performances.
