วันที่ 3 พฤษภาคม 2556 - นายจักรกฤษณ์ กาญจนศูนย์ กงสุลใหญ่ นำคณะเดินทางไปร่วมงานประเพณีสงกรานต์ของรัฐตรังกานู ซึ่งมีชาวไทยในรัฐตรังกานูและชาวมาเลเซียมาร่วมงานจำนวนมาก โดยกงสุลใหญ่ กล่าวให้โอวาทความว่า ขอให้ชาวไทยทุกคนมีความรักสามัคคีกัน และช่วยกันดำรงรักษาขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีอันดีงามของไทยเอาไว้ให้ได้ และยังได้มอบเงินสมทบทุนสำหรับการจัดงานในปีนี้ จำนวน 5,000 ริงกิตมาเลเซีย สำหรับบุคคลสำคัญของฝ่ายมาเลเซียที่มาร่วมในพิธีเปิดงาน ได้แก่ YB Dato’ Toh Chin Yaw ประธานคณะกรรมการด้านการค้าและสิ่งแวดล้อมของรัฐตรังกานู

Consul-General Jackrid  Kanjanasoon, along with members of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, attended  Songkran  Festival 2013,Terengganu on May 3 to celebrate the Thai New Year. Thai people residing in Terengganu, as well as Malaysians, joined the celebration. On this occasion Consul-General Jackrid delivered a speech to the Thai people stressing the values of living in harmony and conserving Thai cultural traditions to maintain the Thai identity.   In addition, Consul-General Jackrid contributed 5,000 MYR on behalf of the Royal Thai Consulate-General to support the event. YB Dato’ Toh Chin Yaw, chairman of Industry, Trade and Environment Committee of Terengganu also attended the event as VIP guest for the opening ceremony.
