วันที่ 30-31 สิงหาคม 2556 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารูได้จัดกิจกรรมกงสุลสัญจรที่อำเภอกัวมูซัง (Gua Musang) รัฐกลันตัน โดยมอบให้นายเปายี แวสะแม กงสุล นำคณะเจ้าหน้าที่ไปให้บริการหนังสือเดินทาง และให้คำปรึกษาปัญหาด้านงานทะเบียนราษฎรและปัญหากฏหมายแก่ชาวไทยที่เดินทางเข้ามาทำงานและพักอาศัยอยู่ในอำเภอกัวมูซัง ซึ่งเป็นเขตที่มีชาวไทยจากจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้เข้ามาทำงานในสวนยางและสวนปาล์มเป็นจำนวนมาก รวมทั้งได้จัดเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำแก่ผู้ที่มาร่วมกิจกรรมซึ่งมีทั้งชาวไทย ชาวมาเลเซีย และชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายจีน เพื่อสนับสนุนให้เกิดความรักและสามัคคีระหว่างกัน

During 30-31 August, 2013 the Royal Thai Consulate-General traveled to Gua Musang, Kelantan, where a large number of Thai people from the southern borders are residing and working, to set up a mobile unit and provide consular services to the people in the area.  Led by Consul Paoyee Waesahmae, the team provided passport services as well as consultation on document registrations and problems that Thai people face when working overseas, and later in the evening hosted a dinner to the visitors consisting of both Thais and Malaysians.
