วันที่ 9 กันยายน 2556 นายจักรกฤษณ์ กาญจนศูนย์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้รับเชิญไปบรรยายพิเศษแก่ครูผู้สอนอิสลามศึกษาจากโรงเรียนในจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ที่เดินทางเข้ามาฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการหลักสูตร “พัฒนาภาษามลายูกลางนำสู่ห้องเรียนเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่อาเซียน” ณ “Institut Pendidikan Guru” เมืองโกตาบารู ภายใต้งบประมาณของสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษานราธิวาส เขต 2 ในการนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ได้กล่าวย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการสร้าง Connectivity ระหว่างประชาชนทั้งสองฝั่งประเทศเพื่อรองรับการเป็นประชาคมอาเซียนในอีก 2 ปี ข้างหน้า และได้เน้นให้สถาบันการศึกษาทั้ง 2 ฝ่ายมีการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ไม่เฉพาะภาษามลายู แต่ให้มีการสอนภาษาไทยพื้นบ้านแก่ชาวมาเลเซียควบคู่ไปด้วยเพื่อรักษาเอกลักษณ์ภาษาไทยพื้นบ้านให้คงอยู่ในจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้และให้แพร่หลายเข้าไปยังสถาบันการศึกษาของมาเลเซียสืบไป

9 September 2013 – Consul-General Jackrid Kanchanasoon visited and delivered a speech to Islamic Studies teachers from the southern provinces of Thailand who have completed their training in “Standard Bahasa Melayu” at “Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG)”, Kota Bharu which was organized by The Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 of Narathiwat Province as an Asean Community Preparation Course. On this occasion, Consul-General Jackrid stressed on the importance of promoting “connectivity” between the peoples of Thailand and Malaysia to prepare for the regional integration and encourages the exchange of knowledge between educational institutions of the two countries, not only in Bahasa Melayu but also the Thai language in order to promote Thai language studies in Malaysian educational institutions.
