วันที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2557 นายจักรกฤษณ์ กาญจนศูนย์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู และข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ร่วมกับชมรมคาวบอย-อินเดียนของอำเภอสุไหงโก-ลก จังหวัดนราธิวาส และสมาชิกชมรมคาวบอยของ มาเลเซียในรัฐกลันตัน จัดกิจกรรม “คาวบอย-อินเดียน สุไหงโก-ลกอาเซียนไนท์ ประจำปี 2557” (Cowboy-Indian-Sungai Golok ASEAN Night 2014) ที่โรงแรมเก็นติ้ง อำเภอสุไหงโก-ลก เพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างชายแดนไทย-มาเลเซีย และเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้แก่ชาวมาเลเซียในการเดินทางเข้ามายังจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของประเทศไทย กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปีโดยในปีนี้มีสมาชิกคาวบอยและคาวเกิลล์มาร่วมงานเป็นจำนวนมาก โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างดีจากนางสุชาดา พันธ์นรา นายกเทศมนตรีเมืองสุไหงโก-ลก

Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon and members of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Kota Bharu, together with members of Cowboy-Indian Club of Sungai Golok, Narathiwat and Cowboy Club in Kelantan gathered together on 22 February 2014 for the “Cowboy-Indian-Sungai Golok ASEAN Night 2014” at Genting Hotel, Sungai Golok. The event was held to promote tourism between the Thai-Malaysian borders and to promote confidence among Malaysian tourists in traveling to the southern border provinces of Thailand. Held on an annual basis, this year’s event drew a huge number of cowboys and cowgirls and received great support from Sungai Golok’s Mayor Suchada Pannara.
