วันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2557 นายจักรกฤษณ์ กาญจนศูนย์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วย พล.ต.ต.พัฒนวุธ อังคะนาวิน ผู้บังคับการตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดนราธิวาส และคณะ ประกอบด้วยผู้กำกับการตำรวจภูธร ในจังหวัดนราธิวาส รวม 30 นาย ได้เข้าพบ SAC Dato’ Jalaluddin Bin Abdul Rahman หัวหน้าตำรวจรัฐกลันตัน ที่สำนักงานตำรวจรัฐ เมืองโกตาบารู รัฐกลันตัน เพื่อเยี่ยมคารวะ และร่วมประชุมกับตำรวจรัฐกลันตัน เพื่อแสวงหาแนวทางในการร่วมมือป้องกันอาชญากรรมข้ามแดนระหว่างตำรวจของจังหวัดนราธิวาสกับตำรวจรัฐกลันตัน ซึ่งมีชายแดนร่วมกัน ในการนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้ให้คำมั่นว่า สถานกงสุลใหญ่มีความยินดีจะให้ความร่วมมือและสนับสนุนการทำงานของตำรวจทั้งสองฝ่าย ในมิติที่เกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างจังหวัดนราธิวาสกับรัฐกลันตันอย่างเต็มความสามารถต่อไป

27 February 2014 - Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon, together with Pol. Maj. Gen. Pattanawut Angkanawin, Commander of Narathiwat Provincial Police and a delegation of 30 police officers from Narathiwat Provincial Police, paid a visit to SAC Dato’ Jalaluddin Bin Abdul Rahman, Chief Police Officer of Kelantan at the Kelantan Police Headquarters.  Together the Thai and Malaysian delegations conducted a meeting to seek closer cooperation in preventing cross-border crimes between the Narathiwat-Kelantan borders.  Consul-General Jackrid gave assurances that the Royal Thai Consulate-General will cooperate and provide assistance to the Thai and Malaysian counterparts to promote relations between the province of Narathiwat and the state of Kelantan.
