วันที่ 12-13 กันยายน 2557 นายจักรกฤษณ์ กาญจนศูนย์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้นำสมาชิกสโมสรไลออนส์ ของอำเภอตาเนาะ-แมเราะ รัฐกลันตัน นำโดย Mr.Kang Bee Ann,JP คณะกรรมการสโมสรฯ ไปเยือนอำเภอสุคิริน จังหวัดนราธิวาส ภายใต้ “โครงการสานสัมพันธ์กลันตัน-สุคิริน” เพื่อมอบอาหารแห้งจำนวนหนึ่งให้แก่อำเภอฯ นำไปแจกจ่ายให้แก่ชาวสุคิริน และในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้สโมสรโรตารีเมืองโกตาบารูยังได้ร่วมส่งอุปกรณ์การกีฬามาให้นายอำเภอสุคิรินนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์ของเยาวชน เพื่อส่งเสริมการออกกำลังกายและโน้มน้าวให้เยาวชนห่างไกลจากยาเสพติด ทั้งนี้ “โครงการสานสัมพันธ์กลันตัน-สุคิริน” มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่สำคัญ คือ การส่งเสริมความร่วมมือ และการแสดงออกถึงมิตรภาพที่ดีของประชาชนสองฝั่งประเทศ

On 12-13 September 2014, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon led Mr. Kang Bee Ann, JP, Board of Directors of Lions Club of Tanah Merah, together with members of club, to the district of Sukhirin, Narathiwat province to hold the “Kelantan-Sukhirin Relationship Project” with the objective of promoting closer cooperation and goodwill between the peoples of Thailand and Malaysia.  On this occasion Lions Club of Tanah Merah donated processed food to the people of Sukhirin and the Rotary Club of Kota Bharu also contributed skipping ropes to the Chief District Officer of Sukhirin which will be handed out to schools in the district to promote exercise and healthy lifestyles among the youth.
