เมื่อค่ำวันจันทร์ที่ 9 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2560 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เชิญปัญญาชนคนสยามจำนวนหนึ่งในรัฐกลันตันมาหารือเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับการจัดทำหนังสือ "คนสยามในมาเลเซีย" ในสามภาษา คือ ภาษาอังกฤษ ภาษาไทย และภาษามาเลเซีย

On Monday evening, 9 January, 2017 there was the first meeting at the residence of the Consul-General, of the officers of the Royal Thai Consulate-General and the intellectuals of Kelantan's Siamese community, on writing a book called, "The Siamese People in Malaysia" in the English, Thai, and Malaysian languages.
