วันที่ 19 กันยายน 2568 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้พบปะหารือกับ ผศ. ดร. กุสุมา กูใหญ่ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสันติศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ และ ผศ. ดร. ศรีสมภพ จิตร์ภิรมย์ศรี เพื่อรับฟังมุมมองทางวิชาการ เกี่ยวกับกระบวนการพูดคุยเพื่อสันติสุขจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ตลอดจนแนวคิดการพัฒนาพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการสนับสนุนการสร้างสันติสุข ณ สถาบันสันติศึกษา

โอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องการส่งเสริมการปฏิสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และสถาบันฯ ในประเด็นต่าง ๆ ต่อไป

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu meets with representatives from Institute for Peace Studies, Prince of Songkla University

On 19 September 2025, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, met with Asst. Prof. Dr. Kusuma Kooyai, Director of the Institute for Peace Studies, Prince of Songkla University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Srisompob Jitipiromsri, with an aim to gain academic perspectives on the peace dialogue process in the southern border provinces of Thailand at the Institute. The meeting also touched upon ideas for development of the said area in support of the peace dialogue process.

On this occasion, both sides agreed to promote interactions and cooperation between the Consulate-General and the Institute on various issues going forward.
