กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะมุขมนตรีแห่งรัฐตรังกานู ในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่ง และหารือการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างฝ่ายไทยกับรัฐตรังกานู

 

วันที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2566 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri bin Mokhtar มุขมนตรีแห่งรัฐตรังกานู (Menteri Besar) เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ โอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้แสดงความยินดีที่มุขมนตรีได้รับเลือกตั้งเป็นสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรในการเลือกตั้งซ่อม ส.ส. เขตเกอมามันและกล่าวถึงความสัมพันธ์ไทย – มาเลเซียที่ดำเนินมาด้วยมิตรไมตรี และกระชับแน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น ในช่วงผ่านมา โดยนายกรัฐมนตรีของทั้งสองประเทศ พบปะหารืออย่างต่อเนื่อง ล่าสุดระหว่างการตรวจเยี่ยมพื้นที่ชายแดน ณ ด่านสะเดา จังหวัดสงขลา เมื่อพฤศจิกายน 2566 กงสุลใหญ่ฯ และมุขมนตรีฯ ได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับโครงการการพัฒนาของรัฐตรังกานู และแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งการพัฒนาพื้นที่ชายแดนระหว่างภาคใต้ของไทยกับภาคเหนือของมาเลเซียด้วยการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการท่องเที่ยว และความร่วมมือระหว่างหอการค้าของจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทยและรัฐตอนเหนือของมาเลเซีย เป็นต้น

 

 

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu paid a courtesy call on Menteri Besar of Terengganu State on the occasion of his assumption of duty.

 

On 12 December 2023, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General, together with officials of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, paid a courtesy call on YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri bin Mokhtar, Menteri Besar of Terengganu State, on the occasion of the former’s assumption of duty. On this occasion, Consul-General congratulated Menteri Besar for being elected as MP for Kemaman with clear majority and mentioned the Thai-Malaysian relations, which have always been cordial and intensified more recently, with Thai and Malaysian Prime Ministers meeting for the third time at the new CIQ Sadao, Songkhla Province in November 2023. Consul-General and Menteri Besar also discussed development programmes in Terengganu and different areas of cooperation, including border development between Southern Provinces of Thailand and Northern States of Malaysia through such activities as tourism promotion and joint collaboration between local chambers of commerce in Terengganu and Southern Provinces of Thailand.
