วันที่ 22 มิถุนายน 2569 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้จัดพิธีทำบุญตักบาตรเพื่อถวายพระกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าพัชรกิติยาภา นเรนทิราเทพยวดี กรมหลวงราชสาริณีสิริพัชร มหาวัชรราชธิดา อันเป็นกิจกรรมในพระสังฆราชูปถัมป์ของเจ้าพระคุณ สมเด็จพระสังฆราช เนื่องในโอกาสที่ทรงเจริญพระชนมายุ 99 พรรษา วันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2569 โดยพระพิศาลสมณกิจ เจ้าคณะรัฐกลันตัน และเจ้าอาวาสวัดประชาจินาราม เป็นประธานฝ่ายสงฆ์ และมีพระครูอุดมธรรมปฏิภาณ เจ้าคณะรัฐตรังกานูและรัฐปาหัง และเจ้าอาวาสวัดอุตตมาราม พร้อมด้วยพระสงฆ์ในพื้นที่เข้าร่วมพิธี

โอกาสนี้ นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ และเจ้าหน้าที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ตลอดจนชาวไทย ชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายสยาม (ชาวสยาม) และชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายจีน ประมาณ 50 คน เข้าร่วมพิธีในครั้งนี้

Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu Organizes a Merit- Making Ceremony on the Occasion of 99th Birthday Anniversary of His Holiness Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatayana, Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, 26th June 2026

On 22 June 2026, the Royal Thai Consulate General in Kota Bharu organized a Merit-Making and Alms-Giving Ceremony to dedicate merits to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita. The Ceremony is part of activities under the Patronage of His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, in commemoration of His Holiness' 99th Birthday Anniversary on 26th June 2026. Phra Phisan Samanakit, Primate of Kelantan and Abbot of Prachacinaram Temple, presided over the Ceremony as the chief monk and was joined by Phra Khru Udomdhamapatiphan, Primate of Terengganu and Pahang and Abbot of Uttamaram Temple, and local monks.

On this occasion, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand in Kota Bharu, presided over the Ceremony as the lay chairman. The event was attended by approximately 50 participants, including officials and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General as well as members of Thai, Malaysian Siamese and Malaysian Chinese communities.
