วันที่ 26 สิงหาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ YB Datuk Kamarudin MD Nor มนตรีด้านการท่องเที่ยว วัฒนธรรม ศิลปะ และมรดก รัฐกลันตัน เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือในการจัดเทศกาลฮาลาลไทย ระหว่างวันที่ 17–21 กันยายน 2569 ณ บริเวณสนามกีฬา Sultan Muhammad IV เมืองโกตาบารู

โอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้ขอรับการสนับสนุนการจัดงานดังกล่าวร่วมกับหน่วยงานรัฐกลันตันที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมทั้งขอคำแนะนำจาก YB Datuk Kamarudin MD Nor ซึ่งได้แสดงความยินดีที่ฝ่ายไทยจะจัดงานภายในรัฐกลันตัน และความพร้อมของรัฐกลันตันในการให้ความร่วมมือกับฝ่ายไทย โดยมอบหมายให้การท่องเที่ยวกลันตันจัดประชุมหารือรายละเอียดกับฝ่ายไทยต่อไป

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu meets with Chairman of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Heritage Committee of the Kelantan State Government to discuss preparations for the Thai Halal Festival

On 26 August 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, together with officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, paid a courtesy call on YB Datuk Kamarudin Md Nor, Chairman of the Tourism, Culture, Arts and Heritage Committee of the Kelantan State Government, to discuss cooperation in organizing the Thai Halal Festival from 17 – 21 September 2026 at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, Kota Bharu.

On this occasion, the Consul-General sought support from the relevant Kelantan state authorities for the event organization, as well as advice from YB Datuk Kamarudin Md Nor. He welcomed the Thai side’s initiative to hold the festival in Kelantan and affirmed the state’s readiness to cooperate with the Thai side, tasking Tourism Kelantan with holding a meeting with the Thai side to discuss further details.
