วันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2568 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ร่วมกับหน่วยงานท้องถิ่น จัดกิจกรรมปลูกป่าชายเลนเพื่อถวายแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 28 กรกฎาคม 2568 ณ ชายฝั่งอ่าว Pantai Melawi, Bachok รัฐกลันตัน โดยนายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ คู่สมรสและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ เข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง

การจัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาในครั้งนี้ นอกจากจะจัดเพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวแล้ว ยังตรงกับวันเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าโลก (World Ranger Day) ที่จัดขึ้นในวันที่ 31 กรกฏาคมของทุกปี เพื่อยกย่องและระลึกถึงความเสียสละของเหล่าผู้พิทักษ์ป่า ตลอดจนสอดคล้องกับนโยบายส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงนิเวศของรัฐกลันตัน การส่งเสริมจิตสำนึกด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในชุมชน และการให้ความสำคัญกับระบบนิเวศชายฝั่งเพื่อเป็นแนวป้องกันทางธรรมชาติในการรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสภาพภูมิอากาศอีกด้วย

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu organizes the Royal Thai Volunteers Activity on Mangrove Reforestation

On 31 July 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu, in collaboration with local agencies, organized the Royal Thai Volunteers Activity by replanting mangrove trees at Pantai Melawi, Bachok, Kelantan on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty's the King Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2025. Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, along with consular officers, their spouses, and staff members of the Consulate-General, participated in the event.

This volunteer activity was not only held to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua but also coincided with the World Ranger Day, observed annually on 31 July, in memory of dedication and sacrifice of forest rangers. The event aligned well with Kelantan State's policy to promote ecotourism and was also aimed at raising environmental awareness within local community and emphasizing the importance of coastal ecosystems as a natural buffer against impacts of climate change.
