วันที่ 1 สิงหาคม 2568 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ร่วมกับสำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดนราธิวาส และสำนักงานหลักประกันสุขภาพแห่งชาติ เขต 12 สงขลา จัดกิจกรรมการออกหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่เพื่อให้บริการตรวจสุขภาพพื้นฐานและให้คำปรึกษาทางการแพทย์แก่คนไทยในมาเลเซีย โดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู การออกหน่วยแพทย์ครั้งนี้มีคนไทยสนใจเข้ารับบริการตรวจสุขภาพและรับคำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับหลักประกันสุขภาพทั้งสิ้น 53 ราย โดยส่วนใหญ่เป็นคนไทยที่อาศัยอยู่ในเมืองโกตาบารู รัฐกลันตัน และบริเวณใกล้เคียง
บุคลากรทางการแพทย์จากโรงพยาบาลสุไหงโก-ลก โรงพยาบาลเจาะไอร้อง โรงพยาบาลแว้ง และโรงพยาบาลตากใบ ได้ร่วมมือร่วมใจให้การบริการดังกล่าวแก่คนไทยในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานูด้วยจิตอาสาของทุกคน กิจกรรมดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของหน่วยงานภาครัฐในการดูแลความเป็นอยู่ของประชาชนชาวไทยให้ได้รับสิทธิและเข้าถึงบริการทางการแพทย์อย่างทั่วถึง แม้จะอาศัยอยู่ในต่างประเทศ
ในพิธีเปิดกิจกรรม นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วม โดยว่าที่ร้อยตรีตระกูล โทธรรม ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนราธิวาส ให้เกียรติกล่าวเปิดกิจกรรม และนายแพทย์ถนัด อาวารุลหัก นายแพทย์สาธารณสุขจังหวัดนราธิวาส กล่าวรายงาน ตลอดจนมีผู้บริหารหน่วยงานภาคีเครือข่ายเข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง ได้แก่ นายแพทย์ถนัดฯ นายแพทย์วุฒิชัย ดิลกธราดล ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลสุไหงโก-ลก นายแพทย์มาหะมะ เมาะมูลา ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลเจาะไอร้อง นายแพทย์วันเตาเฟ็ก แวดือราแม ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลแว้ง และนายสายันต์ อาจณรงค์ รักษาการผู้อำนวยการเขต สำนักงานหลักประกันสุขภาพแห่งชาติ เขต 12 สงขลา
สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และภาคีเครือข่ายอยู่ระหว่างการพิจารณาจัดหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่เพื่อให้บริการแก่ชาวไทยในมาเลเซียในครั้งต่อไป จึงขอเชิญชวนชาวไทยติดตามข่าวสารประชาสัมพันธ์ของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และภาคีเครือข่ายตามช่องทางต่าง ๆ
Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu, in collaboration with partner agencies, jointly organize a mobile medical unit to provide basic health check-ups and medical consultations for Thai nationals in Malaysia.
On August 1, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu, in cooperation with Narathiwat Provincial Public Health Office and National Health Security Office, Region 12 Songkhla, organized a mobile medical unit to offer basic health check-ups and medical consultations for Thai nationals in Malaysia, free of charge, at the Consulate-General in Kota Bharu. The mobile medical service benefited 53 Thai nationals, most of whom live in Kota Bharu and nearby areas.
Medical personnel from Su-ngai Kolok Hospital, Cho-Airong Hospital, Waeng Hospital, and Tak Bai Hospital cooperated wholeheartedly to deliver these services to Thai nationals in Kelantan and Terengganu, driven by their strong volunteer spirit. This activity reflects the government agencies’ commitment to ensuring the well-being of Thai citizens and their access to health rights and medical services, even when living abroad.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, gave the welcoming remarks while Acting Sub Lt. Trakul Thotham, Governor of Narathiwat Province, delivered the opening speech and Dr. Thanad Awarulhak, Chief of Narathiwat Provincial Public Health Office, presented the report.
Executives from partner agencies also attended the event, including Dr. Thanad, Dr. Wuttichai Diloktharadol, Director of Su-ngai Kolok Hospital, Dr. Mahamad Mokmula, Director of Cho-Airong Hospital, Dr. Wantaofek Waedueramae, Director of Waeng Hospital, and Mr. Sayun Artnarong, Acting Director of the National Health Security Office, Region 12, Songkla.
The Royal Thai Consulate-General and its partner agencies are currently considering organizing another round of mobile medical services for Thai nationals in Malaysia. Thai nationals are encouraged to stay informed through the Consulate-General’s and partner agencies’ public communication channels.
