วันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2557 นายจักรกฤษณ์ กาญจนศูนย์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ในฐานะที่ปรึกษา “คณะอนุกรรมการความร่วมมือเศรษฐกิจกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้านด้านมาเลเซีย” ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะอนุกรรมการฯ ครั้งที่ 4 ณ โรงแรมยะลาแกรนด์พาเลส จังหวัดยะลา ตามที่ได้รับเชิญจาก นายศิริศักดิ์ หวังธรรมมั่ง ประธานคณะอนุกรรมการฯ โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมการประชุมประกอบด้วย รองกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองปีนัง ผู้แทนสำนักงานพาณิชจังหวัดและหอการค้าต่าง ๆ ใน 5 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ รวมทั้งภาคเอกชนในจังหวัดยะลา โดยที่ประชุมได้พิจารณาประเด็นปัญหา โอกาส และอุปสรรคในการส่งเสริมการค้าและการท่องเที่ยวในจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ และกำหนดแผนการจัดประชุมร่วมระหว่างผู้แทนของหอการค้าใน 5 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้กับหอการค้าจีนจากรัฐทางเหนือของประเทศมาเลเซีย เพื่อกระชับความร่วมมือทางการค้าและการลงทุนร่วมกัน รวมทั้ง สร้างโอกาสในการจับคู่ทางการค้า เพื่อให้การดำเนินการเกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรมมากที่สุด        

On 26 June 2014, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon attended the 4^th Subcommittee Meeting on Thai-Malaysian Economic Cooperation, of which he is an advisor, at Yala Grand Palace Hotel, Yala. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Sirirak Wangthammang, chairman of the Subcommittee. Participants at the meeting included the Thai Deputy Consul-General to Penang, representatives from Yala’s Office of Commercial Affairs and the Chambers of Commerce in the 5 southern provinces of Thailand, and the private sector of Yala. Major issues that were raised during the meeting included challenges and opportunities of tourism in the southern provinces as well as plans for holding a meeting between representatives from Chamber of Commerce in the 5 southern provinces of Thailand  and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the northern states of Malaysia which is aimed at strengthening cooperation and promoting business matching between Thai-Malaysian businesses.
