วันที่ 3 พฤศจิกายน 2557 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ร่วมกับ จังหวัดนราธิวาส จัดกิจกรรมเจรจาแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลทางธุรกิจ และสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าระหว่างนักธุรกิจนราธิวาส กับนักธุรกิจของมาเลเซีย ณ โรงแรม Crown Garden เมืองโกตาบารู โดยกิจกรรมนี้ถือเป็นเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ “โครงการยกระดับผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจชายแดนเพื่อเชื่อมโยงความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้ากับประชาคมอาเซียน” ภายใต้แผนแม่บทของกรมการปกครองต่อประชาคมอาเซียนในระดับพื้นที่ (DOPA’s Master Plan on Asean Community) โดยผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมประกอบด้วยภาครัฐและเอกชนของจังหวัดนราธิวาส รวม 29 คน และนักธุรกิจมาเลเซียอีก 80 คน และมีกิจกรรมหลักประกอบด้วย การแนะนำตัว และแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลทางการค้าระหว่างกัน ตลอดจนการจับคู่ทางการค้าและการลงทุน ทั้งนี้ นายณัฐพงศ์ ศิริชนะ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนราธิวาส ได้เป็นประธานในการจัดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้

On 3 November 2014, the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Narathiwat Province co-organized a business-matching session between entrepreneurs of Kelantan and Narathiwat at Crown Garden Hotel, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This activity is one of several projects implemented by the province of Narathiwat to develop the capacity of local entrepreneurs and promote connectivity with the ASEAN community under the Department of Provincial Administration’s Master Plan on Asean Community. The activity was presided over by Mr. Nattapong Sirichana, Governor of Narathiwat Province and consisted of 29 persons from the government and private sectors of Narathiwat and 80 entrepreneurs from Malaysia who took this opportunity to introduce their businesses and exchange their company profiles.
