“กลุ่มเพื่อนไทยรุ่นใหม่” (Friends of Thailand Youth Group) ได้เปิดตัวเมื่อวันที่ 26 มีนาคม 2558 ณ ร้านอาหาร “Foh Cheong” เมืองโกตาบารู มีนาย Chan Khek Keong นักธุรกิจมาเลเซีย เป็นประธานกลุ่มฯ และมีสมาชิกผู้เริ่มก่อตั้งรวม 10 คนโดยมีกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เป็นที่ปรึกษา สำหรับการรวมตัวของ “กลุ่มเพื่อนไทยรุ่นใหม่” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสนับสนุนการทำงานของ “กลุ่มเพื่อนไทย” ในปัจจุบันให้กว้างขวางยิ่งขึ้น โดยจะเน้นการสร้างความเชื่อมโยง (Connectivity) กับภาคประชาชนของไทยตามแผนแม่บทอาเซียน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการสร้างเครือข่ายกับนักธุรกิจรุ่นใหม่ของสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย ทั้งนี้ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้วางโครงการนำ “กลุ่มเพื่อนไทยรุ่นใหม่” ไปเยือนสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทยในเดือนเมษายน ศกนี้

On 26 March 2015, “Friends of Thailand Youth Group” has been set up at Foh Cheong restaurant, Kota Bharu by the 10 committee members, chaired by Mr. Chan Khek Keong. The objectives of setting up the group are to support the work of FOTs and to promote the connectivity between peoples of two sides of the countries under ASEANs’ master plan of connectivity. In the pictures, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon, as the advisor of the group, had given the recommendation for the group’s future activities, especially for the creation of network with young members of Chamber of Commerce of Thailand. In this regard, the group had an agreeable to visit the Chamber in up-coming April.
