เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ 4 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2559 เวลา (ประเทศไทย) 06.00 น. ดร. ไพฑูรย์ สงค์แก้ว กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้ไปร่วมการปล่อยตัวนักปั่นจักรยาน รวมทั้งสิ้นเกือบ 300 คน ที่สวนมิ่งขวัญประชา บ้านตันหยงมะลิ อำเภอสุไหงโก-ลก ซึ่งร่วมกิจกรรมปั้น Audax Sungi Kolok สานสัมพันธ์ไทย-มาเลเซีย โดยปั่นเข้าประเทศมาเลเซียด้วย

On Sunday, 4 September 2016, Dr. Paitoon Songkaeo, Consul-General participated in an event of cycling competition by the Audax Sungai Kolok in Sungai Kolok District, Narathiwat Province. The purpose of the cycling contest is to promote the border ties between Thailand and Malaysia. The competitors also cycled into Malaysian border.
