เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 29 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2559 คณะภรรยาข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ร่วมกับคณะครูและนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนในจังหวัดนราธิวาส ได้จัดการสอนแกะสลักผักผลไม้ตามแบบศิลปะไทยให้แก่ภรรยาของคณะรัฐมนตรีรัฐบาลท้องถิ่นรัฐกลันตันและภรรยาข้าราชการชั้นผู้ใหญ่รัฐกลันตัน ที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ และนักเรียนไทยได้แสดงการรำกลองยาวกับเซิ้งอีสานด้วย

On Thursday, 29 September 2016 the wives of the consuls of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, in cooperation with the teachers and pupils from schools in Narathiwat Province, organized a fruit carving lesson for the wives of the ministers of Kelantan State Government, and those of Kelantan State's high government officials, at the Royal Thai Consulate-General. Thai Students also staged two Thai cultural dances in the event.
