เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ 16 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2559 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้จัดพิธีถวายความอาลัยแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวในพระบรมโกศ ที่ห้องประชุมสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ในสองวาระ คือ ช่วงเช้าซึ่งมีผู้ร่วมพิธีประมาณ 50 คน และช่วงเย็นซึ่งมีเฉพาะบุคลากรของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ

On Sunday, 16 October 2016, the Royal Thai Consulate-General organised a function twice in remembrance of the late beloved His Majesty king Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Consulate-General. The morning function drew about 50 people, and the consulate-general's personnel only attended the evening function.
