เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 28 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2559 นายปัญญรักษ์ พูลทรัพย์ รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้อัญเชิญผ้ากฐินพระราชทานมาทอดถวายที่วัดโพธิวิหาร อ. ตุมปัต รัฐกลันตัน
ในพิธีถวายผ้าพระกฐินดังกล่าว นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการชั้นผู้ใหญ่ของไทยและมาเลเซีย รวมทั้งชาวพุทธไทยและมาเลเซียหลายร้อยคนได้เข้าร่วมงานบุญนี้ด้วย

On Friday, 28 October 2016, Mr. Panyarak Poolthup, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, ceremonially presented the Kathina robe to the assembly of monks of Wat Pothivihan, Tumpat District, Kelantan State. Also participated in the event were HE Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, and many Thai-Malaysian high government officials, and hundreds of local Thai-Malaysian Buddhists.
