วันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ Puan Siti Khadijah binti Hamzah ผู้บัญชาการหน่วยงาน Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (MBCA/AKPS) ประจำด่านรันเตาปันยัง ณ ที่ทำการ AKPS รันเตาปันยัง เพื่อแนะนำตัว และข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในโอกาสที่ผู้บัญชาการฯ เข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่

โอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้แสดงความขอบคุณต่อความร่วมมืออันดียิ่งที่ได้รับจาก AKPS และหน่วยงานมาเลเซียที่เกี่ยวข้องในการสนับสนุนภารกิจด้านกงสุลของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ รวมทั้งการให้ความช่วยเหลือคนไทย และการประสานงานด้านชายแดน ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางส่งเสริมและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการบริหารจัดการชายแดน ควบคู่กับการอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการเดินทาง การค้า และการติดต่อระหว่างประชาชนไทย - มาเลเซีย บริเวณพื้นที่ชายแดนไทยกับรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู ตลอดจนเห็นพ้องว่า การติดต่อประสานงานอย่างใกล้ชิดระหว่างหน่วยปฏิบัติในพื้นที่จะช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการแก้ไขปัญหาและอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชนได้อย่างรวดเร็วและมีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu Meets with Commander of the Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA/AKPS) to Strengthen Cross-Border Cooperation

On 22 July 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, accompanied by officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, paid a courtesy call on Puan Siti Khadijah binti Hamzah, Commander of the Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA/AKPS), at the Rantau Panjang ICQS Complex on the occasion of her recent assumption of duty.

During the meeting, the Consul-General expressed Consulate-General’s sincere appreciation for the excellent cooperation extended by the MCBA/AKPS and the relevant Malaysian authorities in supporting the Consulate-General’s work, particularly in providing assistance to Thai nationals, and coordinating border-related matters. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation and enhancing the effectiveness of border management while facilitating the cross-border movement of people and trade between Thailand and the Malaysian States of Kelantan and Terengganu. They also shared the view that close communication and coordination among operational-level agencies in the border areas would contribute to more efficient problem-solving and further facilitate the smooth movement of people across the border.
