วันที่ 11 กันยายน 2569 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ร่วมกับสำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดนราธิวาส และคณะแพทย์ พยาบาล และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์จิตอาสา จากโรงพยาบาลในสังกัด ได้แก่ โรงพยาบาลสุไหงโก-ลก โรงพยาบาลแว้ง และโรงพยาบาลยี่งอเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 80 พรรษา จัดกิจกรรมออกหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่เพื่อให้บริการตรวจสุขภาพพื้นฐานและให้คำปรึกษาทางการแพทย์แก่คนไทยในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู ครั้งที่ 3 ประจำปี 2569 ณ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ โดยมีคนไทยเข้ารับบริการตรวจสุขภาพในครั้งนี้ทั้งสิ้น 50 ราย

โอกาสนี้ นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้หารือร่วมกับผู้แทนสำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดนราธิวาสและโรงพยาบาลในสังกัด นำโดย นพ. วุฒิชัย ดิลกธราดล ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลสุไหงโก-ลก เพื่อประเมินผลการดำเนินกิจกรรมออกหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่สำหรับคนไทยในรัฐทั้งสองของมาเลเซียที่ผ่านมา ตลอดจนหารือแนวทางและแผนการจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าว ณ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในปี 2570

กิจกรรมออกหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่ดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการดูแลสุขภาพเชิงรุกและเพิ่มโอกาสในการเข้าถึงบริการทางการแพทย์ของคนไทยที่พำนักอาศัยในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู โดยเฉพาะรัฐกลันตันซึ่งมีพื้นที่ชายแดนติดต่อกับประเทศไทย สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของภาครัฐในการบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อคุ้มครองดูแลและส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตของคนไทยในต่างประเทศให้มีสุขภาวะที่ดีอย่างยั่งยืน

Mobile Medical Unit Programme for Thai Nationals in Kelantan and Terengganu

On 11 September 2569, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu, in collaboration with the Narathiwat Provincial Public Health Office and volunteer doctors, nurses, and medical personnel from three affiliated hospitals, namely Su-ngai Kolok Hospital, Waeng Hospital, and Yi-ngo Chalermphrakiat 80 Phansa Hospital, organised the third Mobile Medical Unit Programme of 2026 at the Consulate-General. The activity provided basic health screening and medical consultations to Thai nationals residing in Kelantan and Terengganu, with a total of 50 Thai nationals receiving medical services.

On this occasion, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, held a discussion with representatives from the Narathiwat Provincial Public Health Office and affiliated hospitals, led by Dr. Wuttichai Diloktharadol, Director of Su-ngai Kolok Hospital. The discussions focused on reviewing the outcomes of previous Mobile Medical Unit activities for Thai nationals in both states as well as exploring plans to continue providing these services at the Consulate-General in 2027.

The Mobile Medical Unit Programme aims to promote proactive healthcare and improve access to essential medical services for Thai nationals residing in Kelantan and Terengganu, particularly in Kelantan, which shares a border with Thailand. The initiative reflects the Thai Government's commitment to strengthening cooperation among relevant government agencies to safeguard the welfare and enhance the quality of life of Thai nationals abroad, while promoting their long-term health and well-being.
