วันที่ 31 มกราคม 2569 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้จัดพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลสตมวาร (100 วัน) เพื่ออุทิศถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ณ วัดมัชฌิมาราม รัฐกลันตัน โดยนายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู เป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ คู่สมรสและเจ้าหน้าที่ ตลอดจนชาวไทย ชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายสยาม (ชาวสยาม) และชาวมาเลเซียเชื้อสายจีน ประมาณ 100 คน เข้าร่วมพิธีฯ
โอกาสนี้ พระพิศาลสมณกิจ เจ้าคณะรัฐกลันตัน และเจ้าอาวาสวัดประชาจินาราม เป็นประธานฝ่ายสงฆ์ โดยมีพระครูอุดมธรรมปฏิภาณวมณ เจ้าคณะรัฐตรังกานูและรัฐปาหัง และเจ้าอาวาสวัดอุตตมาราม และพระครูสวรรณวรานุกูล เจ้าอาวาสวัดพิกุลทองวราราม เข้าร่วมด้วย รวมทั้งได้จัดพิธีทำบุญตักบาตร และสวดมนต์ถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง
โอกาสเดียวกันนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้รับเชิญเป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส ร่วมเปิดสำนักงานทีมงานสงเคราะห์คณะสงฆ์รัฐกลันตัน ทั้งนี้ ทีมงานสงเคราะห์ฯ เป็นกลุ่มอาสาสมัครที่ให้ความช่วยเหลือบรรเทาทุกข์แก่ผู้ประสบความเดือดร้อนในรัฐกลันตัน โดยล่าสุด ได้ร่วมบริจาคช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยน้ำท่วมที่ประเทศไทยด้วย
Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu Organizes Merit-Making Ceremony on the Hundredth Day Following the Passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother
On 31 January 2026, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu organized a Merit-Making Ceremony at Matchimmaram Temple to mark the hundredth day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, in his capacity as co-lay chairman, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by approximately 100 people, including officials and staff of the Consulate-General, as well as Thai, Malaysian Siamese, and Malaysian Chinese communities in Kelantan.
Phra Phisan Samanakit, Primate of Kelantan and Abbot of Prachacinaram Temple, led the chanting to dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. He was joined by Phra Khru Udomdhamapatiphan, Primate of Terengganu and Pahang and Abbot of Uttamaram Temple, along with Phra Khru Suwanwaranukoon, Abbot of Phikun Thong Wararam Temple A traditional almsgiving ceremony was also held for the occasion.
After the Ceremony, the Consul-General was invited as co-lay chairman to preside over the opening of the Office of the Kelantan Sangha Welfare Team. This volunteer welfare team provides assistance to people in need across Kelantan and has recently contributed donations to support flood relief efforts in Thailand.
