เนื่องในโอกาสวันแม่แห่งชาติวันที่ 12 สิงหาคม 2559 นี้, เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 11 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2559 กงสุลใหญ่ไพฑูรย์ สงค์แก้ว พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้ไปเยี่ยมและเลี้ยงอาหารเที่ยงคนไทยที่ต้องโทษจำคุกจำนวน 58 คนที่เรือนจำประจำอำเภอมาจัง รัฐกลันตัน

On the occasion of the coming Mother's Day on 12 August 2016, Mr. Paitoon Songkaeo, Consul-General, and other consular officers visited Machang District Prison, Kelantan State, on 11 August 2016 to intimately meet with and to host lunch to the 58 Thai prisoners therein.
