เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 16 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2559 สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ได้ร่วมกับสโมสรไลออนส์อำเภอทานาห์เมร่าห์ รัฐกลันตัน พร้อมครอบครัว ไปทอดผ้าป่าสามัคคีที่วัดคลองเป็ด อ. ระโนด จ. สงขลา เพื่อร่วมสบทบทุนก่อสร้างอาคารห้องสุขาในวัดคลองเป็ด

On Friday, 16 September 2016, the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Lions Club of Tanah Merah, Kelantan State, and their families offered a donation to Wat Klong Ped, Ranot District, Songkhla Province. The donation went to a fund for the construction of a toilet building in the Buddhist temple.
