On 21 - 23 September 2017, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu organised a study trip to the South of Thailand for Thai students in Terengganu, during which Dr. Tawat Nouipom, Director of Halal Institute of Prince of Songkhla University, Pattani Campus, gave them a briefing on a role the Thai students in Terengganu and Kelantan can do to help the Halal Business Development in the Southern Border Provinces in the era of Thailand 4.0. During the trip, Mr. Tirut Supvibulphol, Director of Foreign Affairs Division of the Southern Border Provinces Administration Centre (SBPAC) and Mr. Muhamad lutfee Useng, Chief Officer of Passport Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yala Province briefed them on the government’s policies towards Thai Students abroad. The Royal Thai Consulate-General also took the Thai students on a field trip to I-yerweng Village, Betong District, Yala Province, for them to do activities in order to enhance closer and stronger relationship among themselves.
