วันที่ 13 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ให้การต้อนรับนาย Thaw Wen Zhong ประธานการจัดงาน Border Coffee Carnival และประธานกรรมการ Malaysia Coffee Brewer League และคณะ ณ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในโอกาสเข้าพบหารือเกี่ยวกับการจัดงาน Kelantan International Coffee Week 2026 ระหว่างวันที่ 11 – 14 มิถุนายน 2569 ที่ Gelanggang Seni เมืองโกตาบารู โอกาสนี้ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือลักษณะการจัดงาน และรูปแบบความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน รวมทั้งการสนับสนุนและการอำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการกาแฟไทยจากจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ของไทย และจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ที่คาดว่าจะเข้าร่วมงานดังกล่าวจำนวน 10 ราย

กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้กล่าวชื่นชมคณะผู้จัดงานรุ่นใหม่ที่จัดกิจกรรมธุรกิจด้านกาแฟที่รัฐกลันตันต่อเนื่องจากการจัดงาน Kelantan Coffee Week 2025 x Border Coffee Carnival เมื่อปี 2568 ซึ่งได้รับการตอบรับเป็นที่น่าพอใจ พร้อมกล่าวเสริมว่า การจัดงานฯ จะช่วยกระชับความร่วมมือระหว่างผู้ประกอบธุรกิจกาแฟรายย่อยระหว่างไทยและมาเลเซีย โดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยินดีสนับสนุนและอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้ประกอบการไทยที่จะเข้าร่วมงานดังกล่าว

Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu discusses with organizers of Kelantan International Coffee Week 2026

On 13 May 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, welcomed Mr. Thaw Wen Zhong, President of Border Coffee Carnival Malaysia and Chairman of Malaysia Coffee Brewer League and his delegation at the Consulate-General. The meeting was held to discuss the organization of the Kelantan International Coffee Week 2026, scheduled to take place from 11–14 June 2026 at Gelanggang Seni in Kota Bharu.

On this occasion, both sides discussed the nature of the event and possible forms of cooperation, including support and facilitation for Thai coffee entrepreneurs from Thailand’s Southern Border Provinces and Chiang Mai Province, who are expected to participate in the event with approximately 10 exhibitors.

The Consul-General commended the young organizing team for continuing to promote coffee-related business activities in Kelantan following the successful Kelantan Coffee Week 2025 x Border Coffee Carnival held in 2025, which received positive response from the public. He noted that the event also helps strengthen cooperation between small-scale coffee entrepreneurs from Thailand and Malaysia. The Consulate-General expressed its readiness to support and facilitate Thai entrepreneurs participating in the Kelantan International Coffee Week 2026.
