วันที่ 4 กรกฎาคม 2568 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนศูนย์อำนวยการบริหารจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ (ศอ.บต.) และการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) สำนักงานกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน Border Coffee Carnival Malaysia x Kelantan Coffee Week 2025 ณ สนามกีฬา Sultan Muhammad IV เมืองโกตาบารู รัฐกลันตัน มาเลเซีย โดยมี YB Zameri Mat Nawang รองมนตรีด้านการท่องเที่ยว วัฒนธรรม ศิลปะ และมรดก รัฐกลันตัน เป็นประธานในพิธี
งานดังกล่าวเป็นข้อริเริ่มและความร่วมมือระหว่างชุมชนกาแฟในพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย-มาเลเซีย โดยมีภาครัฐและเอกชนรัฐกลันตัน ตลอดจนหน่วยงานไทยที่เกี่ยวข้องร่วมสนับสนุน ภายในงานมีผู้ประกอบการร้านกาแฟและร้านอาหารจากทั้งสองประเทศกว่า 80 ราย ร่วมจัดแสดงสินค้าคัดสรรคุณภาพ พร้อมกิจกรรมหลากหลาย อาทิ การแข่งขันบาริสต้านานาชาติ การแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม และการฝึกอบรมโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านกาแฟชั้นนำจากทั้งสองประเทศ รวมถึงผู้ก่อตั้งอุปกรณ์ดริปกาแฟชื่อดังจากประเทศญี่ปุ่น
โอกาสนี้ สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้ให้การสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการกาแฟจากจังหวัดนราธิวาสและยะลา จำนวน 4 ราย ได้แก่ ร้าน Kno.Where96 ร้าน Cayo Café ร้าน Roller Roaster และร้าน TF Coffee ให้เข้าร่วมในงาน พร้อมกันนี้ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) สำนักงานกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เข้าร่วมเพื่อส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวไทยด้วย
กิจกรรมชายแดนในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความร่วมมืออันแน่นแฟ้นในระดับท้องถิ่นระหว่างไทยและมาเลเซีย ตลอดจนเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ประกอบการในพื้นที่ชายแดนได้ขยายตลาด สร้างเครือข่ายธุรกิจ และเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการยกระดับผู้ประกอบการกาแฟไทยสู่ตลาดมาเลเซียอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu attended Opening Ceremony of Border Coffee Carnival Malaysia x Kelantan Coffee Week 2025 and visited Thai Coffee Exhibitors
On 4 July 2025, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, together with representatives from Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC) and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Kuala Lumpur Office, attended the opening ceremony of the Border Coffee Carnival Malaysia x Kelantan Coffee Week 2025, held at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia. The event was presided over by YB Zameri Mat Nawang, Deputy Chairman of Tourism, Culture, Arts, and Heritage Committee.
The event is a collaborative initiative between coffee communities in the border area of Thailand-Malaysian, supported by both public and private sectors in Kelantan, as well as relevant Thai agencies. Over 80 coffee and food vendors from both countries showcased their quality products. The Carnival featured a wide range of activities, including an international barista competition, cultural exchange programs, and training sessions conducted by leading coffee experts from both Thailand and Malaysia, along with the founder of a renowned Japanese coffee drip equipment brand.
On this occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General supported the participation of four coffee entrepreneurs from Thailand’s southern border provinces, specifically from Narathiwat and Yala, namely, Kno.Where96, Cayo Café, Roller Roaster, TF Coffee, to showcase their premium products. In addition, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Kuala Lumpur Office, took part in the event by organizing an exhibition booth to promote Thai tourism.
This cross-border activity highlights the strong local-level collaboration between Thailand and Malaysia, offering a platform for border-area entrepreneurs to expand their markets, establish business networks, and pave the way for Thai coffee entrepreneurs into the Malaysian market.
