วันที่ 12 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายภาษิต จูฑะพุทธิ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองโกตาบารู ให้การต้อนรับนายแพทย์กู้ศักดิ์ บำรุงเสนา นายแพทย์สาธารณสุขจังหวัดนราธิวาส และนายแพทย์วุฒิชัย ดิลกธราดล ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลสุไหงโก-ลก พร้อมคณะผู้บริหารและบุคลากรทางการแพทย์จากสำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดนราธิวาสและโรงพยาบาลในสังกัด ได้แก่ โรงพยาบาลสุไหงโก-ลก โรงพยาบาลแว้ง และโรงพยาบาลตากใบ ในโอกาสที่นายแพทย์กู้ศักดิ์ฯ เข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ ณ บ้านพักกงสุลใหญ่ฯ
โอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการเพิ่มโอกาสในการเข้าถึงบริการด้านสาธารณสุขสำหรับคนไทยในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มีภูมิลำเนาจากจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ รวมทั้งจังหวัดนราธิวาส เพื่อวัตถุประสงค์ให้มีสุขภาพที่ดี แข็งแรง เหมาะสมต่อการพำนักในมาเลเซีย ตลอดจนหารือแผนการออกหน่วยแพทย์เคลื่อนที่ เพื่อให้บริการตรวจสุขภาพพื้นฐานและให้คำปรึกษาทางการแพทย์แก่คนไทยในรัฐกลันตันและรัฐตรังกานู ในปี 2569
Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu discusses with Chief of Narathiwat Provincial Public Health Office and delegation regarding cooperation to provide basic health services for Thai nationals in Kelantan and Terengganu.
On 12 February 2026, Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, welcomed Dr. Kusak Bamrungsena, Chief of Narathiwat Provincial Public Health Office, together with Dr. Wuttichai Diloktharadol, Director of Su-ngai Kolok Hospital, and a delegation of executives and medical personnel from the Narathiwat Provincial Public Health Office and its affiliated hospitals, namely Su-ngai Kolok Hospital, Waeng Hospital, and Tak Bai Hospital, on the occasion of Dr. Kusak’s assumption of duty at the Consul-General’s Residence.
On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on ways to enhance access to basic healthcare services for Thai nationals residing in Kelantan and Terengganu, Malaysia, most of whom are from Southern Border Provinces of Thailand, including Narathiwat. The discussion also covered plans to organize mobile medical units in 2026 to provide basic health check-ups and medical consultations for Thai nationals in both states, with an aim of promoting their well-being during their stay in Malaysia.
